New rescue

Zeus, a 3-5 month old pit bull was found tied to a fence post with bailing wire with only enough room move his head. He was brought to us yesterday with lots of punctures over his body and head. They look like dog bites. We think he was being trained as a fighting dog. Very sad, because he is such a sweet puppy.

Why blog

This is a blog for record and for education for anyone interested in animal rescue. In this blog I plane to give recolections of activities of the day, any special projects, any special incident involving our rescued critters. Spot

And So We begin

7/25/2009 a day that we will remember for a while, well atleast a week. Our Animal rescue received notice today that our application fo r 501c3 tax exempt status was approved! It's only been one year in the making, but that's ok, because the costs were covered by a grant! In otherwords it was free....

I plan on updating accomplishments and adoptions and daily or semi daily happenings on the farm .

And oh yea,, today is my mom and Dads 47th wedding aniversary, God bless you both!
